The invader formation is a load-bearing structure. Shoot the wrong block and it falls on you.
The structure hangs from the rail. Anything still connected to it through supports stays up. Cut that connection and everything on the wrong side of the cut falls, destroying whatever is under it — including you.
Every support wears the number of blocks it is holding. Most read 0, because a neighbour is bracing them. The one that reads 48 is the keystone, and shooting it is both the fastest clear and the fastest way to die.
◈ Shooters hold nothing. They are light, they fire down at you, and killing them is not demolition — the structure does not care. A shooter only fires when nothing of its own is in the way, so digging a lane arms the thing at the top of it.
Your shot stops at the first block it meets. The keystones are at the top, behind everything else, so the only way up is to tunnel — and the tunnel is what removes the bracing that was holding the roof over your head.
Debris cannot be outrun, only stepped out of. The cells that would fall are outlined the moment you line up under them, with their landing zone marked at your feet. Your bunkers eat falling debris one block for one block, and they never come back mid-structure.
Bring the whole thing down. The formation steps closer on its own clock the whole time. TO BREACH counts the rows between its lowest block and your line — so the way to buy time is to take out what is nearest you, and the way to lose is to tidy the top while the bottom walks down.
